Publisher's Summary

In this book, Richard Ayoade - actor, writer, director, and amateur dentist - reflects on his cinematic legacy as only he can: in conversation with himself. Over 10 brilliantly insightful and often erotic interviews, Ayoade examines Ayoade fully and without mercy, leading a breathless investigation into this once-in-a-generation visionary. They have called their book Ayoade on Ayoade: A Cinematic Odyssey. Take the journey, and your life will never be the same again.

An Ayoade (Aye-Ewe-Ah-Dee) Review

It was good mostly. Entertaining. Takes a different sort of humour. I listened to it all and I’m glad it’s over. Wait, am I? Yes, yes I am. I should have never doubted myself, I am very glad it’s over.

[The reviewer then threw himself violently through a pane of glass, not a window, just a strategically placed pane of glass, and then jogged off, far into the distance whilst the waning sun finally set. He was not seen again. Until the following Monday. Over tea and biscuits. Cheese biscuits].

For the fan of Richard Ayoade

A fun little book with a fun style

I'll admit that the novel wasn't exactly what I had hoped it'd be, but in the end I enjoyed the book and can't wait to dive into some of his other books

Weird and hilarious

If you are a fan of Travel Man, Gadget Man and IT Crowd you will appreciate the odd, dry humour of this book.
