High taxes guarantee nothing

Canada is awesome. However, paying high taxes guarantees nothing. Canadians pay about 50% on average of their income to taxes. For most Canadians, taxes are higher than cost of housing and food combined. In the end, we are $1.6 trillion in government debt plus, our own personal debt on top of that. Add to that the everyday cost of living. This book was a bunch of Liberal Ideology put together to justify high taxes.

Pretty good but missing some important pieces

A good synopsis of Canada’s history, but no mention of the Metis and our significant contributions. I also strongly disagree with the sentence,”We all came from somewhere.’ Indigenous people have always been here in our diversity and harmony.

A neat look into what makes Canada awesome. Talks about various cultural and iconic things about our country!

I really thought this book was awesome. This person recounted their life with a lot of memories of things from hanging with people and playing in the playground, to enjoying the different seasons and foods within Canada. It’s need to read a book about what our country is like which is mainly the good points. Enjoy this book if you want to think about some of your favourite foods that you haven’t eaten in a while such as Nanaimo bars and butter tarts. Remember the good times cheers for Canada! Peace out. This book is a good read for Canada day or thinking about your country. It’s nice and short only 34 minutes long. So enjoy and have a fabulous day!

Boring book that goes no where

He tries to promote Canadian unity (with things that every country experiences) but ends up trying to defend high taxes rates as a good thing. Complete trash of a book. isn't even worth the free price tag.

Start here!!

This is a good starting point to get familiar with some of Canadian tradition and places. You'll have to do your homework afterwards.

Don't waste your time on this!

Started off well enough and then quickly plummeted into some tasteless ignorance and prejudice. The author tries to be balanced and in just a couple sentences that all disappeared. He pumps Canada up and up and up and...you get the idea, not realistic.
