Publisher's Summary

Number one New York Times best-selling author!

Simon Snow is the worst Chosen One who's ever been chosen.

That's what his roommate, Baz, says. And Baz might be evil and a vampire and a complete git, but he's probably right.

Half the time, Simon can't even make his wand work, and the other half, he starts something on fire. His mentor's avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there's a magic-eating monster running around, wearing Simon's face. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here - it's their last year at the Watford School of Magicks, and Simon's infuriating nemesis didn't even bother to show up.

Carry On is a ghost story, a love story, and a mystery. It has just as much kissing and talking as you'd expect from a Rainbow Rowell story - but far, far more monsters.

Loved it

This book was an absolute delight! Charming, thoughtful, silly and romantic. An absolute treat to listen to. The narrator did a bang up job as well.

Love!

I've read and listened to this book several times, and love it more each time! Euan Morton's narration is perfect for the tone of the book, and the slight changes in his voice give each character a life of their own.

I'm looking forward to listening to he next one!

11/10

The story is brilliant and heart wrenching in all the right ways. I fell in love with Simon and Baz and Penny so quickly and whole heartedly.

And the narrator has ruined me for all other audio books. The voices and emotions are all so top notch I'm worried I'll never find another narrator who can compare.

I've read/listened to this story at least five times and I'll keep coming back for more.

Incredible!

With so many different POV's, this is a difficult book to narrate. Euan Morton does a fantastic job. The different voices and demeanors are perfect for each character and makes this audio book very entertaining. His comedic timing and emphasis adds something amazing to this book and I loved every second.

Long but Very Good

The beginning is a bit long and winded but after the main conflict truly beginnings, it’s hard to put down

Simply Delightful

I think this is my 4th listen and I still love it. I love Simon, Baz, Penny and Agatha. I love their whole not-Harry-Potter world .

The narration is EVERYTHING!

Carry On is essentially a Harry Potter M/M fanfic. Though I haven't read Rowell's Fangirl, I do know that Cath (Fangirls main character) creates fanfic of Simon and Baz in the book. This book is a result of the popularity of Fangirl.
The story itself is just different enough from Harry Potter to avoid copy write and just similar enough to keep HP fans interested.
The absolute best part of this audio book though is the narrator. Euan Morton is amazing! Having read the hard copy of the book and now listened to the audio I can say with absolute certainty that the audio book is better and it is all because of Morton.

Gay HP but better

I love this story so much, it’s interesting and queer and everything my nerdy heart desires.
