Great story, poor ending choice
The story was great and I was drawn in very easily but the story glosses over some ideas near the end and the story does just that, it ends. The story doesn’t finish or wrap up or even leave at the best moment it just stops. I am sure this is get you to read the next book but it feels cheap.

absolutely breathtaking gripping amazing!!!
It was an absolute thrill to listen too. I have read all of the legend of drizzt books multiple time. and now being able to enter the world of Corona thru this book has gave me one of my new favorite books I've ever read or listened to. the world Is so well displayed and explained and the characters deep and meaningful. i cannot wait until I am able to read book two and hopefully so many more of this amazing new series!

Excellent reader really enjoyed his performance.
This story I have enjoyed it from the first sentence till the last . can't wait for book 2 as the young witch becomes more powerful by the minute.

Hauntingly satisfying
At first I thought, what have I gotten into. However, before long I became enamoured! The story is thick with spirit... Just as a ray of hope crest the hoizon, darkness engulfed. Brilliantly written by Salvatore. Colourfuly told by Reynolds.

Coming of Age in Corona
This is the first book I've read set in the world of Corona, and it's quite a refreshing change from the Forgotten Realms cycle.
Aoelyn is a very believable character, a teenager defying the strict traditions and customs of her elders. She has developed a strong moral compass in spite of the brutality around her.
The other main viewpoint character, Talmadge, has feet of clay.

Great Book
This was the first book I ever read/listened to by RA Salvatore and I was not disappointed . My only complaint is some of the so called plot twists are obvious from the start. #Audible1
