Publisher's Summary

Evan was just an average guy working as an EMT, but when he puts on an ancient dragon mask, he’s teleported to the magical world of Inati as a powerful black dragon.

Now, he’ll have to save a beautiful priestess, rebuild a broken city, and fight a horde of zombie-like monsters led by an ancient demonic evil.

If he wins, then the opportunity to build his powers, treasure horde, and empire will await him. If he loses, then his new friends will all suffer fates worse than death.

Interesting Premise but ultimately disapoints

Even the main character, turns into a dragon and summoned to another world as the mighty beast to beat bad guys get the girl and ultamitly I assume become emperor. What's not to love? Unfortunately its not as interesting as the description says.

First off I'll get it out of the way he does not remain a dragon. One of the most interesting aspects is regulated to the bigining, a few fight scenes and short healing sessions. It really just serves to make the main character supper powerful and ultimately the same story could be told if he was just a super powerful Mage or Cultivator with almost nothing lost.

Acting:
Maybe it's the fact I've heard an overwhelming number of guys doing girl voices terribly or vice versa but its a breath of fresh air for the two voice actors to remain consistently played by a man and women. For the most part I find their acting fine except the actor for Even doesn't change his voice when in dragon form which kind of takes me out of the scenes when he is one and he sound stage exact same even when the author throws in details otherwise

Story:
The story is a little weak and doesn't really go anywhere just setting up the next books big bad. The villains here are introduced only in the scenes they show up in. And the final battle was rather anticlimactic who's going to win. The Dragon, Priestess, the renowned Blue Tree Guild and the Powerful Cultivators with peasent support vs 200 Rando adventures that are given no discription whatsoever other then their leader Asher. Hmm I wonder. Overall the story could use some length broaden your horizons establish distance and the area as the distribution of a dessert is way to close to a forest. the story has no major issues just alot of small ones that add up that drags the story down and meet serves to bait the next story.

H-scene:
One short and a little generic, if your looking for a little risque in your novels look elsewhere although the series promises more in the future Wich I don't oppose as most series do it without establishing much of a relationship between characters.

Final thought:
I'm afraid I'm not going to continue with this series and it's last I checked 12 books long and still not done. the book sidesteps its most interesting premise of being forcefully transformed into a dragon and fails to establish the enemy as a threat to the main character.

Story Spoilers ahead:
The main love interest the Priestess turns out is found actully Devine Cultivator and a super powerful one at that, great right? this is set up one chapter before the big reveal and ultimately means little to the story as we have nothing to compare a normal Priestess to. Also the final villian Asher is under the Miasma sway yet Even breaks his ribs anyway before trying to heal him.
