It's been exactly 10 years since the murders at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and Charlotte (Charlie for short) has spent those 10 years trying to forget. Her father was the owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and the creator of its four adult-sized animatronic animals, and now Charlie is returning to her hometown to reunite with her childhood friends on the anniversary of the tragedy that ripped their town apart.
Curiosity leads Charlie and her friends back to the old pizza place, and they find it hidden and sealed, but still standing. They discover a way inside, but things are not as they once were: the four mascots that delighted and entertained them as children have changed. The animatronic animals have a dark secret, and a murderous agenda.

Enjoyable spooky telling.
I’ve never played five nights at freddy’s, my nephew is a huge fan of it, and said it had a really good backstory. I got this an introduction to the series. It was pretty enjoyable and immersive. Even though it has a younger fan base, this book is still very dark and morbid, you’ll still like it even if you’re older. I was on the edge of my seat listening to it late at night. It’s very descriptive and well written. The narrator also did really well, she has a hard time performing as male voices though, which is understandable. My only complaint is that these characters are extremely clumsy and like to trip and make as much as noise as possible every few minutes while being hunted down. They also shrug constantly. Still, I loved this audiobook and don’t regret it, I’m eager to read the rest of it.

For the FNAF Fans.
Each chapter is really long, but pretty well written. If you're a fan of FNAF then this is definitely for you. That being said I wish that the narrator had more urgency in her voice for the scary parts, and I wish they used music from the first game at least with certain parts of the story. Overall good.

Great introduction to this universe
I've been following the lord of the games for quite some time now and only just started the books. I'm actually glad I waited so long to start the book series, because if Scott's advice to "use the books to fill in the blanks to the game lore" has any merit, there's a lot to unfold here

i rate it 4 out 5 animatronics!
there are a few moments that feel a little lazy but over all it's pretty great story is laid out perfectly. conversations sometimes feel a little boring with to much " he said" and "she said". performance and as great Suzanna Elise Freeman sets the mood perfectly. the range of voices for the characters aren't wide enough the male characters sound to similar but other then that enjoyed it alot. well worth it.
