Since 2014, international monetary agencies have been issuing warnings to a small group of finance ministers, banks, and private equity funds: The US government's cowardly choices not to prosecute J.P. Morgan and its ilk and to bloat the economy with a $4 trillion injection of easy credit are driving us headlong toward a cliff. As Rickards shows in this frightening, meticulously researched book, governments around the world have no compunction about conspiring against their citizens.

Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

The current crisis is not like 2008 or even 1929. The New Depression that has emerged from the COVID pandemic is the worst economic crisis in US history. Most fired employees will remain redundant. Bankruptcies will be common, and banks will buckle under the weight of bad debts. Deflation, debt, and demography will wreck any chance of recovery, and social disorder will follow closely on the heels of market chaos. The happy talk from Wall Street and the White House is an illusion. The worst is yet to come.

This is an updated version of the book that accurately predicted the global stock market crash of 2008, the bursting of the real estate bubble, and Ben Bernanke's unprecedented overreaction via quantitative easing programs. First published in 2008, the book quickly became a best seller not just for its timely insight into precious metals investment but for its amazingly accurate prediction of a "roller-coaster crash" - the manipulated whipsaw between inflation, deflation, and back again.

Few would argue with the fact that on many fronts, we are a world in crisis. And there are two sides to every crisis, be it a leadership crisis, an economic crisis, an education crisis, or a moral crisis. The two sides to crisis are danger and opportunity. Robert Kiyosaki's new book, Second Chance: for Your Money and Your Life, uses the lessons from the past and a brutal assessment of the present to prepare listeners to see - and seize - the future.

In this revelatory narrative covering the years 1967 to 2017, Steven Brill gives us a stunningly cogent picture of the broken system at the heart of our society. He shows us how, over the last half-century, America's core values - meritocracy, innovation, due process, free speech, and even democracy itself - have somehow managed to power its decline into dysfunction.

Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki are both concerned. Their concern is that the rich are getting richer, but America is getting poorer. The entitlement mentality is epidemic, creating people who expect their country, employer, or family to take care of them. And like the polar ice caps, the middle class is disappearing. America is becoming a two-class society, and soon you will be either rich or poor. Trump and Kiyosaki want you to be rich.

"I've set up my corporation. Now what do I do?" All too often business owners and real estate investors are asking this question. They have formed their protective entity - be it a corporation, LLC, or LP - and don't know what to do next. Run Your Own Corporation provides the solution to this very common dilemma. Breaking down the requirements chronologically (i.e. the first day, first quarter, first year), the audiobook sets forth all the tax and corporate and legal matters new business owners must comply with.

Description
Here, Buckminster Fuller takes on the gigantic corporate megaliths that exert increasing control over every aspect of daily life. In the form of a modern allegory, he traces the evolution of these multinational giants from the post-World War II military-industrial complex to the current army of abstract legal entities known as the corporate world. GRUNCH stands for Gross Universal Cash Heist.

Bad narrator for a complex book
It is a really complex book that you need to pay attention to understand the though process. But the narrator seems to not understand a word of what he is reading, so it's like a Robot reading it. whick make harder to pay attention and understand the thoughts of the book. I had to listen to it twice in a row to absorb better, because of the narration... but, besides that, an ok book.

All this warnings knowledge & nothing ever changes
Absolutely love this book,!
After all these years that people trying to warn the public, it's a little disheartening and sad that even with all these warnings and all these technological advancements were still a slave to the monetary FIAT system and nothing ever changes when it comes to Giants rain of control.
Divide and Conquer!!! This is how the Giants keep control!!!
it's so sad that the humanity is so self-absorbed that the people who are trying to blow the whistle on the Injustice in the world get labelled as crazy "Conspiracy theorist" LOL and lunatics.
The DaVinci curse!
Being able to see the facade of lies for what it is, well majority of everybody else still believing the LIE!!!

Fantastic book, but could benefit from being a little more "haiku" than essay. Fuller writes words as if they are variable equations. He strings 10 adjectives together in the same sentence. Lucky for me I have spent alot of time around people who are brilliant, but struggle to communicate it. Overall the book was definitely worth it.

This book had some insights that helped me understand the elites system. It took a while to get to that but did lead me down to that path and it has some interesting information. There are likely better books out there that could help clearly identify the elite system.

Great information, terrible intonation of reading
This was the hardest audiobook to follow primarily because of the mono-toned reading. There was very little inflection of the voice as if there is no punctuation. I did my best to just listen to the words but it was VERY painful.
