Solid Intro to Management

This is a difficult one for me to review, as it's the first book I've read that touches upon what I formally studied a decade plus ago (psychology and business administration). There aren't a lot of concepts that weren't beaten to death in university, and the ones that you don't learn in school, most people learn in their first years in the workplace, well before becoming a manager.

Many parts of the book could have been written more succinctly.

There were a couple of useful insights that I'll be able to apply, and I suppose for those with a different educational background, this book may be filled with a lot of useful case studies.

Comprehensive & enlightening

Good stuff! Really concise and useful - never boring. I’m already able to use these tips. I listen to loads of business books and am surprised this one hasn’t popped up before.

repeats itself to much

good content but could be cut down by at least an hour by omitting the overview or doing a high level overview. seems like they just took a ten minute chunk from the chapter word for word and plugged it in as the overview.

Not bad but I couldn’t complete it.

Unfortunately I could not complete this audiobook

Many chapters remain incomplete for more than a month.

I don’t find the stories relevant nor appealing.

The previous books I purchased from the same category are way much better, interesting and intriguing.
