Christianity as inner transformation
This is an excellent series of retreat talks given by 2 Christian priests: Fr. Keating and Fr. Rohr. The general theme is how Christianity confronts violence through inner transformation and psycho-spiritual growth. Without the inner dimension of contemplative journeying to encounter and dissolve our inner "demons" all social and political work is doomed to failure. These talks may not be for beginners on the spiritual path but are an excellent resource for more experienced meditators within the context of Christianity. I loved all of what both these Fathers had to say.

The Gospel Truth
This is as close to the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as you’ll get. Both Keating and Rohr are wonderful but I especially like Keating’s playful sense of humour. I don’t want to be critical at this point because Keating (or was it Rohr?) said something about being critical that reminded me uncomfortably of myself! Good for Christians and non-Christians alike

Beautiful duet by two modern mystics
Twenty years ago, these two mystics took turns speaking right from the ground of being and in so doing, led me there.
Rohr's take on Biblical stories of demons and exorcisms was brilliant. Keating's down to earth perspective made things practical. His delightful sense of humour kept things light. Sadly, in 2018 Thomas passed on at age 95, but his light remains through his inspirational writings and talks, like this one.

Hard to process and at times to hear.
I love RR but with this one he lost me, too abstract, or too deep. Fr. K's voice drops at the end of sentences so I kept having to go back and relisten. Maybe by the 4th listen I'll get what they intended for me to get..
