Publisher's Summary
In the compulsively listenable follow-up to her widely acclaimed debut novel, You, Caroline Kepnes weaves a tale that Booklist calls "the love child of Holden Caulfield and Patrick Bateman".
2017 Audie Award Finalist for Thriller/Suspense
Hidden Bodies marks the return of a voice that Stephen King described as original and hypnotic, and through the divisive and charmingly sociopathic character of Joe Goldberg, Kepnes satirizes and dissects our culture, blending suspense with scathing wit.
Joe Goldberg is no stranger to hiding bodies. In the past 10 years, this 30-something has buried four of them, collateral damage in his quest for love. Now he's heading west to Los Angeles, the city of second chances, determined to put his past behind him.
In Hollywood, Joe blends in effortlessly with the other young upstarts. He eats guac, works in a bookstore, and flirts with a journalist neighbor. But while others seem fixated on their own reflections, Joe can't stop looking over his shoulder. The problem with hidden bodies is that they don't always stay that way. They reemerge like dark thoughts, multiplying and threatening to destroy what Joe wants most: true love. And when he finds it in a darkened room in Soho House, he's more desperate than ever to keep his secrets buried. He doesn't want to hurt his new girlfriend - he wants to be with her forever. But if she ever finds out what he's done, he may not have a choice....

Don't bother
Just stick you the first book "You" in the series. Hidden bodies is nothing but uninteresting ramblings, less than boring characters with sub-par plot. I made the mistake of ignoring others reviews stating this book sucks, don't be like me.

Every Bit as Good as the First
I wasn't sure how Joe could continue as a character, but this was great. He becomes more tangible, relatable, but also sickening. Santino does an amazing job, can he just narrate every book please?
There were a few plot twists that were red herrings before the real plot twists and I thought these were great. At first I'd roll my eyes thinking it was just a cheap usual one, but then it would get turned upside down and I'd be hooked.
I love the characters. I feel like we've all known a Forty in our lives and you love to hate him.
The book starts off a bit all over the place, but then again, that's how Joe is after Beck.
Love triangles, sexiness, and can I just say I LOVE that Love is 35. So many women in books are super young and as a woman in my 30s I wish there were more characters in my age bracket.
Kepnes's writing style is just so awesome. You feel like you know these people. You feel that LA sun.
Desperate for book 3. Need to know what happens and curious to see how Joe gets himself out of his situation.. if he does?

As good as the first
It was really good and captivating… much like my review of the first, there is just a little too much sex. It’s not exactly a bad thing, but it was a bit much. I found myself wanting to fast forward at times because you don’t really need a hot and heavy sex scene (again) on your way into work lol.

Creepy In A Good Way
This is a great continuation to the You series! I very much enjoyed this audiobook. The narrator is perfect for Joe. I liked the twists and turns of the plot, especially in the last couple chapters (which are very different from the TV show). I will definitely continue listening to this series, and I recommend!

Loved this one almost as much as the first!
Was worth the credit! After listening to the narrator in Netflix, it takes a little time to adjust to Santino Fontana, but not much! He is a great narrator for the story. The right amount of humor, and sounds the right age (some audio books don't get this correct!)

Not what I was expecting
the first book was different then the show but similar enough. This one was totally different in the characters and most of the plot. I like it. Also Santino Fontana is an excellent narrator. can't wait for the next one!
