Master the inner game

This is a valuable book on a most important part of achieving one's goal: mindset and belief. I never thought that cognitive priming and similar stuffs are good for me, but this book taught me that if I were to succeed in all areas of life, I'd have to seriously put these mental exercises into practices.

A Modern Day Plato!

John and his devoted team is simply the most loving, caring and amazing group. This book is super important, almost critical, to assist in bringing our world to an understanding of how we as a planet can flourish and live a life of total abundance and pleasure. Thank you for making this new and powerful knowledge available for us all to take action on immediately! Maxim P. Weithers

great listen!

will listen again! definently recommend! Lots of reviews had mentioned it sounds like an advertisement for the website/program. I didn't feel the same. Most chapters had an add at the end, but after delivering a chapter worth of practical/science based info. the adds were more like "if you would like more info on this topic, check out 'x'". Don't let those sway you from listening, glad I didn't.

LOVED that book. An absolute must read !! This book is based on the most recent brain science. Well written and accessible. Audible's excellent audio version read by Gary Elliott is a plus !

Love the book

This is an excellent read (I have a well-worn copy that I purchased after listening to it once) and listen to. I only wish that John had done his own audio instead of being read by Gary Elliot.

SO MUCH SELF PROMO

There is a lot of good Intel in this book but it's riddled with sales promotion to upsell the reader/listener to his paid program. Such a turn off.

No idea why a teacher/author of his caliber would be doing so much self promo but there it is, throughout the entire book.

If you can ignore the many infomercials you'll gain some value from this book.

Must Read *MULTIPLE TIMES*

The book is a perfect intro into Neuroscience. Understanding what all these chemicals and brain functions mean and do...more importantly how to utilize them for more brain efficiency to create better habits, increase odds of completing your goals and achieving a more enjoyable way of living life.

Guaranteed Success

I have been looking for overcoming some habits that I feel have been hindering my goal achievement. I’ve read many self development books for manifestation etc but a few weeks back I happen to sign up for John Assaraf’s brainathon webinar and was introduced to this book. I like using it as an audio book and they gave me access to so many resources to do the excerises. I love the book as it spoke to me simply explaining what are the blocks in my goal achievement. It’s simple, logical, easy to understand with so much support in terms of resources on the Neurogym platform. I am still work in progress but this book and platform are my personal coach. Accessible all the time. Simply love it. I’m actually feeling confident after reading this and feel like my goals can be achieved! A must read!

too many times mentioned his company name

this is a good book, but I dont know why the author mentioned over and over and over his company name, It made the content of this book boring.
