Arthur is only in New York for the summer, but if Broadway has taught him anything, it’s that the universe can deliver a showstopping romance when you least expect it. Ben thinks the universe needs to mind its business. If the universe had his back, he wouldn’t be on his way to the post office carrying a box of his ex-boyfriend’s things. But when Arthur and Ben meet-cute at the post office, what exactly does the universe have in store for them? Maybe nothing. After all, they get separated. Maybe everything. After all, they get reunited.

Call Me by Your Name first swept across the world in 2007. It is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. During the restless summer weeks, unrelenting but buried currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion as they test the charged ground between them and verge toward the one thing both already fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. André Aciman's critically acclaimed debut novel is a frank, unsentimental, heartrending elegy to human passion.
More praise for Call Me By Your Name:
"Hammer’s soft, velvety voice lends itself perfectly to the story and its Italian setting. While you might think this one isn’t worth a listen if you’ve already seen the movie or read the book, many reviewers say it is still worth taking in even if you know the story - some even say it’s worth listening to more than once." (AskMen)
Ce que les critiques en disent
"...Hammer's voice is brimming with such melody that, if you listen to it long enough, you can probably get drunk off it." (Vulture.com)

Just beautiful!!! Loved hearing Armie tell the story. I saw the movie first. But man this book hit me so much harder. Maybe because I already knew the characters. And I pictured both Timothee and Armie in those roles. But man the words written in this book. Hearing Elio’s point of view. And the ending. Just beautiful.

Such a beautiful & accurate depiction of love.
I've listened to this audiobook twice now and it's still just a beautiful written & narrated as the first time I listened. The only thing that threw me off a bit the first time I listened was the the book is written from Elio's perspective and narrated by Armie Hammer who played Oliver's character in the film. That wasn't a bad thing either, it just took me a minute to get used to it. Aciman's understanding of the intricacies of love is incredible. Never before have I read (listened to) a story that I felt I could relate to on so many levels. How love is a beautiful, tragic, heartbreaking, heart wrenching, lovely, awful incredible, powerful emotion that never really lets go of us. This is a must-read, I hope you enjoy it.

Great Listen
Armie Hammer was amazing at narrating this story. It can at times be a little erotic but the overall message of the story is so beautiful. it isnt about a guy who just wants to get banged by his house guest. The story goes a lot deeper. It does take a bit of time getting used to as the language can be quite harsh. Id ive this book a chance because the actual story and the actual characters are beautiful;

Sensual Italian Summer
I have read the book multiple times, so I knew every twist and turn of the story. I have seen the movie multiple times, so I was prepared for Armie Hammer's line-readings. The audio book is another creature; Armie Hammer's voice brings new life to familiar passages. He did a very, very good job, though I will always lament that Timothee Chalamet didn't lend his voice to a character that he has already made iconic. The author's words drew me to the Italian Riviera a couple summers ago, in anticipation of the movie, and determined to re-read the book in the locations where the original story is set. Mr. Aciman's words and Armie Hammer's delivery took me back on that holiday, one that I'll never regret ended in tears.
