Histoire
After seven years of bitter war, the end has come at last for the conflict known infamously as the Horus Heresy. Terra now lies within the Warmaster’s sights, the Throneworld and the seat of his father’s rule. Horus’ desire is nothing less than the death of the Emperor of Mankind and the utter subjugation of the Imperium. He has become the ascendant vessel of Chaos and amassed a terrible army with which to enact his will and vengeance. But the way to the Throne will be hard as the primarch Rogal Dorn, the Praetorian and protector of Terra, marshals the defences.

She is the master of the stealth battlesuit assault and the Kauyon metastrategy – a philosophy of war that emulates the Patient Hunter. But how to lay a trap for the Chaos-worshipping warriors of the Death Guard, whose ancient technology allows their fleet to rip holes in space? A real thriller!
Thrilling story with characters I really felt myself rooting for, even the villain! Chettah is great, the twists are shocking without feeling contrived, and the narration captures the characters perfectly.

Amazing!
It's always fantastic to see the other parts of the Warhammer 40k universe. A Navigator as the main character and a focus on their world is a refreshing change of pace! Plus it provides a greater understanding of the wider universe. This book was a great listen. Story and Narration both!

Diverse characters & diabolical plots
Love Helen Keeley. This was a very enjoyable story, Great grimdark Intrigue and a great look I to the world of navigator houses, which haven't received much ink overall in the 40k narrative. Worth a listen.
