Publisher's Summary

Runner has a problem. He and 499,000 men and women are trapped in a game. He also just happens to be the only person from IT who could log everyone out safely. And he doesn't remember his password.

He, like everyone else in this nightmare, had his memory scrambled or lost in the process of being loaded into the game. A single garbled message is his only clue to how to save everyone.

The problem is that whoever loaded them into the game loaded their minds completely. If they die, their brains get wiped.

Now it's time for Runner to flex his skills as a power gaming min maxer and see what he can do. Because every time he levels, he might gain the memory of the password. Time to go hardcore.

Slow start but picked up

Pretty happy with this book. Found the author after listening to Super Sales on Super Heroes and am not disappointed

Slow

Everything is very slow, i feel like nothing really happen, but i feel like the basic is now explain and more is going to happen in the next book. I wish there were more dialogues between the harem's character.

The good point about the slow developpement is we can clearly see the mc's opinion change with time.

Standard RPGLit fair

Runner is a System Admin and GM who forgot his password and has to level up to remember it so he can save the crew of a ship that had been traveling through space. Decent characters, except for the main character who oddly seems more one dimensional than the NPCs. I probably would have got the next in the series of the author had not ended it with a cliffhanger to make you get the next in the series. As cliffhangers go it was weak and tangential.
