It hits all the right notes but didn't wow me.
ok so one little thing that bothered me about the performance: the voices were much louder than the narration, so it made listening at night super fussy. as for the plot and overall writing. it's well written; except for the excessive use of the word "murmur". It's not a sexy word. Stop trying to make it sexy. Also, I found she did a really good job portraying the long term effects of trauma. Very believable and very well written. One last flaw: the story formulation hasn't changed. Guy meats girl. Man is super hot. Women is average but not stunning for some reason. Man find woman annoying or unappealing. Then sexually assaults her, is caught and they need to wed where they discover that they are madly in love. Really hope Colin's story is a bit different.

Pleasantly surprised!
This book was much better than the first for me. I really enjoyed this story. The show did change quite a bit but I like both versions.

It was good.
I personally love when there’s a bit more danger or damsel in distresss. It was a cute love story just need more action for me. But lots of sex! Def helped!

I think the show is better 👀
There are many great moments and it's a lovely story but it just lacked some gumption. I wanted more angsty bickering tension and a little less insecure Kate. As for Anthony he lacked the mortifying charm that proved him to be a capital R rake. TOTALLY WORTH THE READ AND I STILL GOT BUTTERFLIES! 🦋
