Description
Someone's out to get Los Angeles bookseller Adrien English. His best friend has been viciously murdered, now he's getting weird phone calls and sinister gifts from a mysterious "admirer." Chris Patton delivers a wonderful performance
The Adrien English series is one of my favorites by Lanyon. Listening to the audiobook brought it to life. Chris Patton voices each character thoughtfully and brings out their personalities.

Great listen
As a gay man, I enjoy fiction that has gay characters so that I can feel and see my lifestyle in the story. I do however get tired of books that are so full of erotic content that it’s basically spoken pornography. I appreciate this book most because the storyline had a lot of intrigue, kept me interested, and with a very minimum of sexual content. I think I’m going to like Josh Lanyon’s books, and I think Chris Patton is a great narrator.

This is my 5th reread of the series.
I think this is the best M/M Romance/ mystery series I have ever read. It is the benchmark for this genre, many come close to this work but IMHO no one has come close so far.
Thank you 🥰 Josh Lanyon for sharing Adrien ( with an E ) and Jake's love story.
