Description

Love the dogs
I love to listen while I’m gardening. So I didn’t catch the background noise. I actually really like the narrator. I did find one chapter a little to.. like filler- it droned on, but overall very enjoyable.

Love this series, but…
Not sure what is going on with this one, you can hear a lot of background noise and talking during this one. Drove me crazy. Sounded like narrator was in a call centre using noise reduction headphones/mic.

Loved the Story
Overall the story was great. At times the Dr was a bit annoying when dealing with her relationship. Very willing to give advice to others but acting like a teenager herself. I do not like the narrator. I also felt the quality of the recording was substandard. Some chapters were announced; others were not. I’ll listen to the next one but am not super excited about it.

Love Cornwell - Cannot Stand the Narrator
Please, please say there will be a better narrator for the rest of the series! I cannot believe they let this person narrate more than one audio book.

Didn’t like narration
I couldn’t get past chapter 2. The narration drive me crazy. Too many long pauses in between paragraphs. I’ll have to read the book myself to see if it’s good or not.

A lot of twists and turns
It was very suspenseful It kept you guessing till the very end
I just wish that there was a connection with killer throughout the plot and not just at the end

Enjoying this series
Book 3 - I wasn’t as taken by this story as much as the 1st 2. Felt a little more disjointed and not so connected to the Medical Examiner. She was involved but sometimes wondered what she was up to.
Kept me wondering till late in the book, who the killer might be… Dramatic ending
