After being dumped by his long-term boyfriend for being overweight, Henry Beckett decides to make some drastic changes. In a vain attempt at getting his boyfriend back, Henry does the most absurdly frightening thing he can think of.
He joins a gym.
Reed Henske is a personal trainer who isn't sure he'll ever be ready to date again. He's sick of guys who are only interested in the perfect body image, never seeing him for who he really is.
As Reed tortures Henry with things like diet and exercise, Henry enamors Reed with recipes and laughter. As the friendship lines start to blur, Henry is convinced there's no way Thor-like Reed could ever be interested in a guy like him.
Reed just has to convince Henry that life isn't about reaching your ideal bodyweight. It's about finding your perfect counterweight.

Such an enjoyable listen, highly recommend
I've listened to alot of books on here and I can confidently say this was one of my absolute favorites. It was so sweet and adorable, with a great lead up to romance and I lov f the humour. Also, as someone who has had their own recent weight loss journey, it was realistic and enjoyable. Truly a great read <3

So good!
I love listening to Joel Leslie and narrating this story was awesome! I love Henry as he is so funny and sweet and Reed was perfect! I highly recommend this one!

I loved this book

absolutely hilarious
I loved this book. it was positively the most hilarious story I've listened too. as an overweight woman I have never related to the gym weightloss experience more hahaha . a very very good read

Must read
This is more then just a love story!Henry goes throuhg some tough life changes.You will find plenty of laughs as well as some tears. As a "bigger" person this store hit home in many way for me.
