Paaaaainful performance.
He speaks so slowly and halts in weird places. It made if really difficult to follow. Putting it on 1.3 speed helped a bit.

Best to read the book…
Unfortunately disappointing! I was really looking forward to listening to this book on audible. The author is also narrating, and unfortunately he does not seem to have an overly animated voice, and somehow seems to speak too quickly (not enough pauses to let things settle into the brain and be absorbed) yet at times it seemed like one point would be hammered on over and over and over.
After listening to the entire book - which took me much longer than most other books, simply because I needed to take more breaks from the monotony, I feel that it would be much better off of being read by the individual, especially in the practices chapters. Sometimes I couldn’t tell when one practice finished, and another started simply because there weren’t enough pauses or visuals, given such as #1, #2 or a) b) c) etc.
I feel the book is probably very well written, and very interesting. However, for me, it was not easy for me to follow, and because of that, I don’t feel like I have gained from the knowledge potentially in this book.

Not too shabby…
I personally liked it - a beautiful blend of poetic prose with a solid background in many psychotherapy areas. A good mix of “gravy” and “meat.” Will likely purchase a physical copy for my practice.
