The title is misleading
These are all twisted murders including detailed killing of babies and children.
Crimes yes, but WTF. Don't listen to this. It should be removed and destroyed.

Average Production - Wrong Format
This is a pretty standard crime docuseries without a unifying theme.
Segments are more or less random 30-minute stories covering disparate crimes in England...some significant...some routine. It's like the producers threw darts at a list of British crimes to see what to make into an episode.
The analysis is decent, but nothing special. It plays like a routine Television program.
To whit: There are multiple times when there are five-second segments with no narration and no interviews...clearly intended for showing visuals - but this is an Audiobook.
Second: It makes frequent use of 9-9-9 tapes and interviews with poor audio quality - subtitles are indispensable - but, again, not possible in this format.
Third: There are lots of clips from News Programs and Interviews...sometimes with no mention of source...listeners are obviously expected to read the chyron. In an Audiobook?
This series would probably be worth 3 stars if it was on Television.
As an Audiobook I have to give it 1.5 stars

A well done report of the events
I have read and watched a lot of different things regarding this awful murder. This one is really well done.... the story is disturbing and gruesome but the way it is explain is well done.

eye- opening
it was an eye-opening experience to read this book and see from many different point-of-view situations that are out of control that have either a good or bad conclusion

Used real audio excerpts and had amazing narration
the flow was amazing. narration was great. the use of real audio from the events and clarifying when it was actors reading other parts was great.
The stories themselves of course were sad and horrible events but the episodes did a good job of seemingly staying impartial and allowing the events told to speak for themselves.
would recommend to anyone who loves true crime. I am canadian and while the events are all UK based we are all human and I still found myself listening to every moment.

Definitely some disturbing stories that keep you listening, although SO MANY LOOSE ENDS. So many unanswered questions and details that make you want to research the case further.
