Good information but poor structure

This book is very unlike the first. Rather than being a novel with a financial lesson it is a collection of rants and advice. That being said it contains some solid information. I would strongly recommend it for anyone who read the first book as it gives some updates and corrections. All in all it's not a stand alone financial book for beginners but a great extra read for supplementary information

Great Book!

Definitely would recommend this book after listening to both The Wealthy Barber and The Wealthy Barber returns. Both great books.
I recommend listening to the first one then the second.
The second book does not follow the same story book format but still great information.

I love how the book is Narrated by David Chilton. He is a fast talker though so if your multitasking you may miss a great piece of advice!

Love Dave Chilton as a narrator!

Simple Messages, but so concrete. Dave delivers the goods in a way anyone can understand.
Great Book!

Simple great advice

Easy to understand advice even for those who do not have a great deal of money knowledge coming in. Chilton offers holistic money managing advice that ranges from the benefits of RRSPs vs TFSAs to the importance of gratitude for what you have and spending within your means. Quick and easy listening.

Lacks engagement

Seems the negative reviews ring true, lacks structure. Maybe better off sticking with the original.

One Of the Most Important Canadian Finance Books

Dave perfectly captures the importance of mindset and gives actual hard examples of each and every scenario. Definitely start with this book first and then move onto books like Millionaire Teacher, and Retire like a Millionaire.

This book will serve as a fundamental reference to Canadian personal finance that you'll be coming back to time and time again.

Thanks for the great book, Dave. God bless.

Must read for new grads entering the workforce

I loved the simplicity of David's approach, the humour and the candidacy of his justifications for everything. He doesn't act like he knows everything but he's got the world of investing and saving figured out as well as anybody. I cannot recommend this book enough, particularly to my friends who are recent grads and young professionals. Start saving now

this audio book is great, funny, and informative

i love how Dave is able to keep me interested. There's lots of information; however, the jokes in between makes it fun to listen to.
