This one has a perfect amount of information to be able to act upon. 9 steps, easy to remember. And last, but not least - the speaker is fun

Like having your own personal workshop

I have been in sales for years and this was a very good reminder of how a good sales presentation should be given. Often I feel sales people, me included, forget the basics and make the process way to complicated. Mr Jones kept me engaged with the open and often humorous take on the process from start to closing. I will listen again.

Exactly what Sales People Need

I’ve seen Phil live and this audio recording gives you some idea of how brilliant this guy is. His simple and straight forward approach to sales is exactly what sales people and entrepreneurs need in this day and age of overload. I know I’ll be re-listening to this a number of times to get all the nuggets I can. Highly recommended

Wonderful advice, engaging speaker

At first I was weary about the format, this is a live recording of a talk given to an audience. But the speaker was extremely thorough and offered very useful advice on how to 'persuade' (getting paid tbd :P). Overall, I think this book is great for anyone who is looking for a modern approach to being more persuasive. I didn't purchase this book because I am in sales, but because I have ideas that sometimes fall on deaf ears in meetings. Some of the other people at work can really make their ideas stand out by how they present them, and I wanted to reach that level too. This book gave me the concepts and practical strategies I was looking for. Phil is able to present his sales ideas in a wonderfully engaging and often hilarious way, while still being very educational.

Especially fantastic if you're averse to selling!

As someone who recently started to fully pursue his personal company and has an inherent dislike and distrust of salespeople, this was a fantastic breath of fresh air. One of my biggest areas of weakness and frustration has been figuring out how to sell my product without appearing to be too salesy or unnecessarily polished.

Phil's techniques and explanations are incredibly easy to implement and most importantly, are genuine! I would highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to get better at selling regardless of skill level. I was a little hesitant at first with the live presentation structure but I actually find that it was really great and possibly better than a typical audiobook for this format. Definitely recommend!

lots of good information

I enjoyed the book. Got a lot of good information. Good for somebody not familiar with sales. And some excellent techniques for people that are already sales professionals

Best of the best in my ear holes

Been a huge fan of all the books Phil has written and had the pleasure of watching him speaking multiple times and this is the PERFECT combo of book and stage with beyond actionable insights making me feel like it’s my own personal 1 on 1 training with Phil. This is a must for everyone and I believe the future of content will be transformed thanks to amazing content like this!

Exceptional read!!

I just wanted to keep going, I struggled to put the book down! He brings up viable points and frames it in a way that simply makes good sense. At the end, he definitely takes the stress away when asking for referrals.

Persuade and Get Paid Thrives LOUD!

I had the pleasure to attend this event in person LIVE at the Minetta Theatre. Listening for a second time to Phil's process is always enlightening and provides so many helpful reminders I'll continue to use it as a resource to refer to again and again. Phil is always at the top of his game...and how is content is presented is very digestible with clear action items to put into use right away.
