Publisher's Summary

You’ve never heard a love story as twisted as this.

Juliette loves Nate.

She will follow him anywhere. She’s even become a flight attendant for his airline so she can keep a closer eye on him.

They are meant to be.

The fact that Nate broke up with her six months ago means nothing. Because Juliette has a plan to win him back.

She is the perfect girlfriend. And she’ll make sure no one stops her from getting exactly what she wants.

True love hurts, but Juliette knows it’s worth all the pain.

So unsatisfying and the story was so silly.
Didn’t want to waste my credit so I listened to it hoping that it would get better and it totally dissapointed

Enjoyed the book and the premise

This was my first thriller, and while I found it started a little slow like I read in the reviews online, it held my interest throughout. Even when no big events were happening, the writing was solid. I really enjoyed the ending and thought it wrapped up the book well and made it a worthwhile listen.

One of My Favourite Books

I had to write a university paper applying psychological concepts to a fictional character and give them a diagnosis. I read this book two years ago and immediately knew I wanted to use Juliette as my case study. That led me to download the audiobook. The main character is a sociopath and fits every diagnostic criterion for antisocial personality disorder in the DSM-5. This, in addition to her obsession stemming from childhood trauma, leads her to commit increasingly illegal and insane actions to get Nate back. I understand that this story is not for everyone, but I really enjoy the character from a psychological perspective, and that she is entirely delusional about reality and the seriousness of her actions. I also quite enjoyed the narration by Anne Marie Lee.

Annoying lead character

Oh my god, the lead character is SO annoying. Had zero empathy for her. When I started listening to the narrator, I felt like I was listening to a woman in her 60s and it didn’t feel like it suited the lead character. I got used to her voice as the story went along, but I was not impressed with the story or the narration.

A little immature for my tastes

The story was a bit silly, unrealistic and immature for my tastes. Characters were shallow.

Wrong voice

I liked the story and was hooked after a few minutes, although I was disturbed by how the voice made you think this is a story out of the 60th or so, I feel like a younger sounding voice would have suited better

No consequences

She got away with everything. Unbelievable characters just go along with everything. Not worth the time

a bit too unbelievable

Fine book, a bit farfetched at times. Some characters didn't act how a person would. But I was interesting.
