Exactly as described

Content is exactly as described. The reader did an excellent job delivering the stories and the author added a lot of flair. I particularly loved the fight scene between Horus and Set.

Love the Subject Matter

Egyptian myths are fascinating and sometimes absurd. Who isn't entertained by tales of a god who sends his eyeball on a mission to find someone, countless pairings of incestuous divine lovers, and a whole pantheon of dieties with animal heads?

While I love the material, these are delivered in a way that's a bit more dry than you might expect. The stories are told as factually as possible. Factual is good, buy there’s no pizazz in the delivery here. I have no trouble falling asleep to this.

It is what it says

I found it very dry, the stories themselves were ok but the delivery could use some work. I'm not going to listen to it ever again.
