Solid Return
I definitely enjoyed the trip back to the Extinction universe. I think the experience was solid and well worth it if you enjoyed the series thus far. I enjoy RC Bray as a narrator, however this series belongs to Bronson Pinchot, in my opinion.

Not finished yet BUT....
I have not completed this story yet but let me tell you....I am HOOKED!! I am so enjoying this book that I am going to listen to every book that follows in this series-I have not finished yet BUT I just HAD to tell you that you will be as HOOKED as I am!! I will never get tired of listening to Mr. Bray and I plan to listen to ALL of his narrations!! What a great story this book is!! Not Zombies but something even worse-if such a thing possible-but IS!! Variants.....makes me shiver to think that this could be a reality in our crazy, crazy world- an event worse than the Holocaust- if such a thing even possible!! In the world of Sci-Fi though, anything is possible and boy what a story a writer can weave with such freedoms as this author has used...what a world this genre is and I am hooked...line and sinker!!..

Performance is excellent, but story is garbage
I’m sorry, I tried. I really wanted to enjoy this, but couldn’t. It’s just painful to listen to, even with the great performance. I found myself tuning out and not caring as the story just isn’t compelling, nor are the characters. I won’t go in to anything to spoil it for those wanting to listen, or are diehard fans. Apparently this is a reboot?
I came in to it not knowing anything about this world/universe and had no expectations. It just didn’t appeal to me in any form. Good luck to you if you go in blind like I did.
