Story
The decision to start a new life is never an easy one, but for Joe the transition was far from figurative. Story
Conquering dungeons and using them to grow has long been the most efficient way to become a powerful adventurer. The only thing keeping the process from being easy is the Beasts that inhabit these places. Questions plague those entering this particular place of power: Where do the ‘rewards’ of weapons, armor, and heavy gold coins come from? Why is a fluffy bunny charging at me? For abyss-sake, why are there so many monsters? Cal has all of the answers to these age-old questions for a very simple reason. He is a Dungeon Core, a soul forced against his will into a magical stone.

Moments before his untimely demise, Felix was snatched from earth and thrust into a magical world known only as "The Continent". Empowered by the "System", he learns that he can strengthen himself through combat and dedication.

Fight, survive, adapt, and rely only on yourself. That is Derek’s creed and what's got him through the System Integration on Earth. Everything changed when the System came. Cute bunnies and beautiful butterflies became savage killing machines. Then the Invaders arrived with a single goal: to obtain ownership of this new habitable planet. War has raged ever since. None of this mattered much to Derek, aside from making living a little more perilous.

Publisher's Summary
Humanity on the run. Desperate base building. Dark deeds done during daylight.
Joe has started to draw attention to himself and his abilities. While some of the attention is good and allows for personal growth, most of it is from various organizations that feel threatened by the sudden upswing of power that Joe's guild - The Wanderers - is attaining.
As the threat to Earth begins to reach its peak, all of humanity has a choice: flee to Eternium, or stay for an uncertain future. Some stay, some go, some don't make the choice quickly enough. In Ardania, the human Kingdom is seeing an unprecedented influx of people. Supply and demand is an issue no matter where you go, as a civilization of a few million can't prepare to accept an eighth of Earth's inhabitants at once.
Joe sets out to solve problems where he can, but he can't be there for everyone...especially when a group of smiling enforcers are working to bring him down.

Sorry, Bored.
Tried my hardest to get through this series and got about halfway through Raze (Completely ignoring Rexus and honestly feeling like I missed next to nothing) before I gave up. First novel I've quit on and it isn't because of the narrator. I guess I expected too much and was hopeful that Joe would finally get powerful by at least this book but him and his crew are still constantly dying over and over enough that I've reached the point of boredom. I won't recommend you not read this but I'm just warning that it doesn't get better, at least not up to this point.

New narrator is boring.
Loved the first 2 books but the new narrator is boring. Hardly changes voices between characters making the story hard to follow also has way less emotion behind the narration.

New narrator takes some getting used to
Good book!
The narrator took some getting used to but is fine once you do. The voice for poppy is soooo bad tho, just barely tolerable. But overall it’s pretty good

If you can't do voices don't be a narrator
The first two books were amazing. But this narrator is horrible. It is hard to distinguish between characters. it sounds like someone is talking to them self.
