Interesting history

I was very excited to hear about the history of the Sumerians. While I did learn some interesting information , I found it hard to follow where the author was going. There was a lot of superfluous lists that were just not necessary as part of the content. For exemple, listing the names of 10 ancient cities all at ounce without added information makes it a 100% I won’t remember any of those, especially when we are not familiar with that language and we are not reading it at the same time as the audiobook.
Maybe it would have been better to built the audiobook with a clear timeline rather than by subjects.
