Description
She's finished with men. He's made it his mission to change her mind.
Rose Watkins has never been afraid of anything. She wasn't afraid to leave home and cross the country on her own at 18, she's not afraid to stand up for herself against judgmental bullies who criticize her unconventional looks, and she's not afraid to chase her dreams, no matter how elusive they may seem.
But after a phony date with doctoral candidate Will Bachman - concocted to help him save his ego in front of an ex-girlfriend - Rose realizes that the possibility of true love is perhaps the scariest thing she's ever had to face.
Nearly Wild is the third book in the Main Street Merchants series by Linda Seed, set in the breathtaking Central Coast town of Cambria, California.

A sweet and touching story
This is the first story a listen by this author and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Rose Watkins and Will Bachman were complex and very likable characters.
The relationships between the four girlfriends was sweet and frequently funny.
Definitely an author I will continue to follow.
The narrator was very good.
