good book. cliff hanger

Jim comes through again with an exciting novel. James is again a fantastic performer. I believe this is the first book in the Dresden files that has a cliff hanger but it was worth the listen. good job guys.

Fantastic book.

Highly recomend it. Should really be listened to with Battle Grounds. Balances action with character building.

Peace Talks aka Part 1

Immediately back into the world of the familiar with our hero Harry and all his friends and family. All is not well, however as something big isn’t coming - it’s here. The battle lines are being drawn and it’s up to Harry to save the world (again). Can’t wait for September’s release.

Great story but glitchy

Love these books and James Marsters is amazing at performing them. There were spots where it seemed like a bad cut and like someone else’s voice filled in what was supposed to be said though which was weird. But that was mostly at the beginning and right when it was released so perhaps that will have been fixed.

Great as always!

Great continuation of the series. My only disappointment comes from the lack in Harry's progress as a wizard. He is maturing in his planning though lol

The world doesn't end. Yet.

The Dresden Files started as run-of-the-mill urban fantasy stories, but things have escalated over the years. They rose to the level of Epic fantasy, and have now progressed to high fantasy, where the stakes are the survival of humanity.

And yet they still find space for family and romance.

And it's a continued story, which makes me happy that I am time-shifted enough to have the sequel, which I am reading now...

it's Dresden, i love him, & I've missed him.

ok, I know the cliff hanger ending Sucks! but I'm pretty sure that was a publisher decision and not a Jim decision. Publishers generally suck. So thank you Jim for insisting on a close release of the second half of the book. 5 stars is the only answer since it made me laugh & cry all the same. my heart is broken right now. I fully expect you to put it back together.
