The left has created a climate of fear wherein ordinary Americans must abandon their principles, back abhorrent causes, and remain silent. They believe America is a force for evil, that our military is composed of war criminals, and that patriotism is the deepest form of treason. They incite riots and threaten violence by playing the race card, then claim they're advocates for tolerance. Disagree with Obama? You must be a racist. They send out union thugs and Occupy Wall Street anarchists to destroy businesses and redistribute the wealth of earners and job creators. No target is off limits as liberal feminists declare war against stay-at-home moms and gay activists out their enemies, destroy careers, and desecrate personal privacy.

interesting insights.
I myself am politically a Centrist and socially a moderate. I get very annoyed by the extremist rhetoric coming from people on the left and the right. fortunately I can see which side of the political spectrum is willing to at least be polite. I've had massive amounts of insults talked at me from both sides but the one side that sticks out is as mr. Shapiro says the left. Leftists and their more extreme cousins progressives although I like to think of them as regressives because well they are very regressive in their policies. I noticed a lot of things that mr. Shapiro was talking about in this book are actually quite accurate in my country as well. Our current prime minister bullies and shames people out of office. He will do whatever it takes to maintain power. I've seen some of the other reviews of this book and a lot of people who gave it a low amount of stars are obviously leftists. Anybody who is approaching this book from even a relatively neutral standpoint although I may not agree with everything mr. Shapiro has written in the book the way he organizes his thoughts and talks about it certainly is quite helpful. A lot of people simply see the book and give it a bad review even though there's never read the book. A lot of people probably read the book because they hate the author so much they just want to look for something to attack him on. But as a Centrist and a moderate I've read the book and I think it's very well written. I think he makes a lot of very valid points that are definitely worth considering. When he talks about bullying I would agree that a lot of people believe to get their own way. But this is the same tactic used by Democrats and Republicans in the United States. Is the same thing as used by the Liberals and conservatives here in Canada. It's very seldom that we ever get a political leader who doesn't want to bully people into supporting them

Every Leftist Should Read This
I come from a Left-leaning background but have become disillusioned with the Left in recent years. I'll be honest, this book was painful for me at times. "Facts don't care about your feelings" is exactly Ben Shapiro's philosophy. He grew tired of the bullying, corruption and downright criminality of the Left, so he decided to come out swinging--telling the cold, ugly truth of the dark side of Leftist politics. The truth cuts like a knife, but it's a good kind of pain. The kind of pain which means you are broadening your perspective, maturing with a greater understanding of the world. Rightwing-hating Leftists have more than had their say. It's only right to hear Shapiro out as he lays out a rather blunt, or to-the-point, explanation of the Conservatives' critical view of Leftism.

We are all different, embrace the reality.
This book has allowed me to see a different point of view of what is generally given through the media. It's taught me that you should stand for what is right, and shouldn't be pressured to follow things you don't agree to.
