Story
Have you ever felt like there was something inside of you pushing your actions? A dormant beast, so to speak. I know it sounds crazy. But, that’s the best way I could describe how I’ve felt for a long time. I thought it was normal, some animal part of the human brain that lingered from evolution. But, this is the story of how I learned I wasn’t exactly human, and there was a world underneath our own where all the things that go bump in the night live. And, that my beast was very real indeed.

Story
"Dude! It finally came!" My roommate barely withheld his excitement as he barreled into the living room of our apartment with a package in his hand. "Check it out, Jacob." He smiled as he tore at the brown paper surrounding his purchase. As he ripped the covering off the package, bits and pieces scattered all across the floor of the living room like confetti. For a second, I thought about lecturing Todd about not making a mess of our apartment, but who was I kidding? This place was already a shithole. At least some half-assed confetti would make it feel a little livelier.

Story
Steven Whipp, a normal, poor college student, is kissed and shot on the night of his 20th birthday. He realizes three things: He’s bulletproof, he’s a dragon, and everything he’s ever wanted is within his reach. But the attempts on his life are just the beginning of his troubles. Steven is a Dragonsoul—a magical race of beings who have thrived, hidden from the eyes of humans, in control of the world. And not just any Dragonsoul, but the last in a long line of Arch-Sorcerers, thought long dead.

Out of nowhere, he's whisked away to a fantasy world with game-like stats, monsters that drop loot, gorgeous mages, and a Dungeon to explore. With only the clothes on his back and a single skill bestowed upon him, he has to survive this new world and forge a new life for himself. And perhaps work on getting a harem while he’s at it.

The worst novel I've read in a long time
- By James on 2022-09-25

Publisher's Summary
In a world full of superheroes, be a power gamer.
Everyone has a superpower, even Sam. The thing is, Sam has a power unlike anyone else. He can level up.
That might not seem like much, but when everything from doing dishes to thwarting robberies gains you experience, Sam has finally found a way to become the most powerful hero the world has ever seen.
And it’s a good thing, too, because the world’s most powerful villain has come back from beyond the grave, and if death didn't stop him, what can anyone else do to stop him?
And Sam? Well, he doesn’t stand a chance right now, either, but if he can level up just a bit more...anything is possible.
Warning: This book contains awesome superpowers, sexy women, sex scenes, explosions, crazy power leveling, and the ability to become the strongest person the universe has ever seen. That’s right, we said universe.

Good
The story is well written. I will buy the next book for sure. I have just one note for the author, Less sex scene and it would be perfect

Some decent ideas. Unfortunately incomplete.
This story had some very good ideas for super powers and a universe to work in. This, however, is where this book starts to lose me.
Sam is a great main character but seems rather immature and naive for is age especially considering where and how he grew up. I noticed with his moments there's quite a bit of fluff content almost like the author had to fill page count and it does get annoying. Statements like "I won't let my mom get hurt!" and "No matter what I can't let the children get hurt!" are great in small amounts to build the initial characters but I counted many of these in every chapter.
One point that I do have major issues with though is the lack of cohesive rules. Only one law is explained in this book and when first introduced it seems like the government is a strict ruling body and takes things like not registering seriously. In short, nope. The police forces are apparently incompetent because a nobody person was somehow able to pull a red-flag law and frame the main character AFTER he had registered. This results in an interrogation which was the most lax and unprofessional scene I have ever heard. If that weren't bad enough, afterward, the main characters are never actually held to account for breaking laws like working without a license. While I am fully onboard with competent characters, the main characters are present and actively participating in events where people die. The impact of this is lightly brushed upon psychologically, but not even touched legally. Lastly, there are several scenes where individuals use powers against other people without reason and the assaults go completely unremarked.
All of these points combines with a few glaring plot holes to give a frankly underwhelming experience. I will be returning this book.

Anybody may write a book series for this app
A total lack of depth and a premise cobbled together from the current batch of popular media e.i. My Hero Academy. This book is terrible, the author must be a fan of hentai visual novels and apparently used them to plan this book. The large number of sex scenes are written as if by a teenage Virgin and narrated by a buzz kill voice akin to rubbing one out with sand paper.
