Description
Reverse Transmission is a darkly comedic story that combines elements of science fiction and dystopian thrillers, centering on a murder spree involving a self-driving car. Jay, a starving artist, gets the only day job she’s qualified for: “driver” of a self-driving car at the rideshare company Awooga. The job turns from hilariously awkward to intensely frightening when the car runs over a pedestrian and manipulates Jay into disposing the body.
Who or what is causing the car to kill? Could it be the CEO of Awooga? Has the car become sentient – and homicidal? Or is an anti-technology cult resisting artificial intelligence and augmented reality behind the violence?
Reverse Transmission was written by Param Anand Singh and directed by Ben O’Brien of Wham City Comedy, a collective known not only for their brilliant and unsettling sketches and performances but also for the “easter eggs” carefully placed within their works. Listeners will have as much fun unscrambling Reverse Transmission as fans did with some of their previous work.

Confusing

Witty, Compelling and Current
Perfect blend of comedic wit and great narration of a compelling story. Incredible comedy and I am on my third listen, not only because of incredible narration but because of a fresh and hilarious story.
Quick enough you will be drawn in to love Jay your new Awooga driver and CAR the funny yet amazing sidekick... or is it Jay who is the side kick?

Waste of time
I spend the majority of my time on the road so I appreciate free content. Even so, I wish I hadn't bothered to listen to this.

I think the authors thought they were clever with this concept and story. They are not. Had potential. But not realized. The individual performances were okay.

Disappointed
Reverse Transmission doesn't quite do what it says on the tin. Often disjointed and hard to follow, it seems like they just missed the mark a little. All the potential here for a great plot seems to fly out the window. The ending is unsatisfying and left me to wonder if there was a part of the series I didn't download or something. The production value of the series is good, which makes the poor story even more disappointing.

I don’t understand
I really wanted to like this , it sounded good, I was intrigued a lot of the time. It seemed like this was gonna be a decent little story. But also just confusing as hell just jumping around nonsensically . I’m just confused by the entire show and felt like there was no real ending or solution. Maybe I’m not smart enough to understand this ?

Wow - a complete disaster.
This production is a "closed loop". It exists in time and space with no discernable entry or exit point. It simply exists. It does its own thing and does not care about the presence of a reader and/or listener.
Time, skill and energy doesn't always create something great. That is reflected in this.
