Get to the point...

Author makes a very valid but very simple point: spend you money on things that earn you money. Don't spend on material items that only depreciate. The problem is he talks in circles about this theory over and over again. You think you'll get more out of it but you never do.

Spend your money on assets that grow and teach your kids about money. Simple. Saved you several wasted hours.

Also, coloured with some anti-tax rhetoric. Just a warning.

Just awesome

I wish I had read this book ten years ago. I feel like I have gained more from the last several hours than I did from most of my university courses.

So / So

I really wanted to like this book.

Some (not much) original thought. The idea of measuring financial health through cashflow from portfolio income is interesting. The comments about financial education were interesting. The distinction between assets and liabilities (based on the author's criteria) is interesting ...

Some generalities and lack of substance. For example (using my words), if you don't have your own money's to invest, use other people's money. High risk investments sometimes pay off. It's a great idea to buy low and sell high. Come on!

All in all, not a total waste of time, but not a masterpiece either.

Enlightenment on investment

Excellent book. Too bad, I listened to this book only now.
most importantly it is a real story.
It not an author narrating a x, y, z technique to become rich or for better investment, but a real self experience.
A must read book.

Excellent Book - Not the Greatest Narration

Awesome book and awesome material. Unfortunately the reader or performer, sounds like he is eating while reading the book and makes nasty sounds with his mouth. sorry Tim wheeler... I appreciate your reading but the sound of you sucking on a candy is not appealing.

Oversimplification

This book is a gross oversimplification of how money works. Telling you over and over to gain more financial literacy, does not help you improve your financial literacy.

Great comparison of mindset between the two

a gray comparison and mindset netween rich mindset and poor persons mindset.

easy listening ... not too technical / Deep

Great basic overview (I moved onto his four quadrant book after this one and seems to build on from this book).

Also appreciate how the book views money (IE: not the love of money/greed).

great foundations book and a starting point to life transformation.
