Description

The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob—featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter.

Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble.

They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct. But political squabbles have a bad habit of dying hard, and the Brazilian probes are still trying to take out the competition. And the Bobs have picked a fight with an older, more powerful species with a large appetite and a short temper.

Still stinging from getting their collective butts kicked in their first encounter with the Others, the Bobs now face the prospect of a decisive final battle to defend Earth and its colonies. But the Bobs are less disciplined than a herd of cats, and some of the younger copies are more concerned with their own local problems than defeating the Others.

Yet salvation may come from an unlikely source. A couple of eighth-generation Bobs have found something out in deep space. All it will take to save the Earth and perhaps all of humanity is for them to get it to Sol - unless the Others arrive first.

Interesting series. Good listen, few complaints.

This is a good series and wort the listen. I however was annoyed by a few small things. First, there were so many "bobs" it was hard to keep track and follow and become invested in one of them, there were a few renditions which I came to care about.
The author kept beating the immortality stick at every turn which frankly became annoying. It was almost to the point of a thought experiment on immortality. No real "down in the dirt" story to enjoy.
So overall good. Just doesn't quite live up to its hype.

quite good. very science. wish there was more.

The Bobiverse is a fun read. I wish it were longer, but he packs a hell of a lot of sci-fi into a small space. It's a bit "Omnipotent nerd comes into his own and saves the universe" ... but Bob is a likable chap for an introvert, and i don't mind him as my intergalactic robot overlord.

A great conclusion

All These Worlds is a great conclusion for Bob and his copies and is absolutely worth the listen if you enjoyed the first two. There are moments in the book where the surge drive can be a magic wand that saves the Bobs with little to no explanation but these moments are more than made up for by the other heavy problems where they need to make difficult and realistic choices.

Clean ending to a fantastic series

Note: Early readers need to redownload to get the complete book!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As with any series ending, you always wish there was more, and this book didn't feel as complete as the others, but was still a great read. The conflicts that arose were varied, and exposes the depths of humanity's desire for power and self interest. They were not as complex as in the previous two books, and the resolution came about a bit easy at times, but it didn't take away my enjoyment. Besides, we wanted to get to the battle with the Others anyway. Again, it was over a bit too quickly, but definitely gives you a sense of finality. The only minor sticking point is the Medeiros story line doesn't feel as complete. There are some real emotional highs and lows in this book I don't want to come close to spoiling. Overall a great end to a fantastic series.

Ray Porter's performance is amazing.

Do not read this book without finishing the previous two.

Where will the Bobs be in 1000 years?

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the Bobiverse. This last installment of the trilogy wrapped up the current plot lines nicely. If you have read the first two then there is no need to explain further. If you haven't the stop reading this and download the whole trilogy and enjoy.

Note to the author.... Where will the Bobs be in 1000 years? My imagination is running wild with the possibilities. I hope yours is too. Please let us know what they find in a new 10 part series of 20hr long audio books. Thank you.

Great ending to the trilogy.

Plus the story ended with plenty of room for more stories from the bobiverse... or other verses like it.

Satisfying End to a Fun Series

It took a while for this one to get going for me but by the end of it I felt completely satisfied. Taylor wraps up all the loose ends and gives fitting endings to all of the characters. In keeping with the other 2 books, this one kept the balance of humor, pop culture references, heartfelt moments, and action. Ray Porter continues to show why he is one of the best in the business. I look forward to his future works.

I hope that this is the ending. Not because I'm glad it is over but rather I would hate to see it be brought back and have the conclusion tainted. The subjective nature of the ending is something that my friends and I are continuing to discuss and that is what makes a great story.

Excellent

One of the most well written and excellently narrated sci-fi stories of all time. The subtle and pleasing pop culture references blended with some real forward looking tech, rounds out one of the most humanistic protagonists you'll ever encounter. It's a celebration of what is the best and possible of humanity. Don't even think about it. Just buy it and enjoy.

Couldn't put it down

Great ending to the Bob series. I was completely entertained from start to finish. Nothing too heavy or too gory, but definitely not adolescent either. I appreciate the balance in this series.
