could have been better.

over all the story is alright, i will probably pick up the next book to see if it fills in some plot holes. still not sure why the gnomes didn't just offer to deal with whatever Bs was on floor 3 so he would stay and help him. hell they wore offering him 1000s of gold just to stay and talk he could have just sead I need 40g in cash and a courier to deliver it and my friend to this goblin witch and I'll stay and tell you everything. Hell the gnomes might have gone and captured the feckin monster for him if he had told them what it was and grabbed him what he needed if they still didn't want to give him the cash.

there wore alot of odd things that did add to the world, but also made things weard. over all it's an ok read but I'm not in a rush to pick up the rest of the books.

Planet Sized Plot hole.

So it's not revolutionary. It's an isekai with D&D inspirations, but it's entertaining enough... if you don't think too hard.
The social issues are ham handed, and I could park a gas giant in the plot hole in the final act. Made worse because it could have been easily tied back into a lesson taught much earlier.
Another strong demerit is the characters that are introduced seemingly to stroke the MC's ego. 2 female characters that serve to get horny over his body and then are effectively abandoned to the ether, both of which could have been used in the final act with even a modicum of thought utilized.
