My Favorite Book
The Phantom Tollbooth is a book from my childnood, it also happens to be the only book I have ever finished reading (comics not included) due to my dyslexia. I read it about 7 years ago in grade 8 and the message and story has stuck with me ever since. It really is an amazing book and having it read to you by Rainn Wilson make it that much better.

Tollbooth revisited! Family Affair
How wonderful are the memories of reading THIS book to our son...
Since I've read this story numerous times to my boy. I think I might have passages learned by heart!
I chose this book deliberately just for the opportunity of being read to.... I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED IN THE LEAST!!
Each chapter excited me not just for the story line; but, for the countless teaching moments and associated memories our little family experienced during those parenting bits.
The most often used segment is the Sea of Knowledge. Swimming through knowledge. What a concept. Actually learning valuable information from which to understand why things may turn out differently than anticipated.
Tick Tock, time to wrap my comments up.
EVERYONE, if you've NEVER seen or heard about this book, just listen to the sample.
I know your intrest and curiosity shall be pulled through that wonderful "PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH"
MY family wishes you the 'JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME.'
This book is written by a very talented Norton Buster. Wonderfully narrated. Best of all Stands the Test of Time.

what a wonderfully weird story and great narration
I read this back in the 60s, but I had to listen to it because of Rainn Wilson, the narrator.
Rainn Wilson brings this story to life!!!!
His change of voices and mannerisms is SO fantastic...you feel like your watching it in real life. His portrayal of each of the characters in beyond explanation!!! I've listened to hundreds of books over the years but nothing compares to the hilariously funny and emotionally charged way that Rainn tells the story!!

Just like I remember it
A wonderful narration of a wonderful story. This was one of my favorite books as a kid, and the narrator breathed new life into the story. I listened to the sample, and then a few minutes later I had bought it, then a few hours later I was still listening to it.
