Do we really need to set aside a million dollars? And if we don't have a snowball's chance in hell of saving that much, should we even bother to try? Gail's answers are no and yes - no, there is no magic number that fits everyone, and yes, you must bother! Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. I see myself re-listening to this one someday...
... because it's that good and entertaining. David Chilton reads his own words and it was very entertaining and informative, even for those with experience in personal finance. This would be an excellent first listen for someone new to saving/investing. But even seasoned investers will surely get a kick out of these very practical chapters.

Great book!
David did really well in simplifying financial concepts. The book was great overall and the author was very enthusiastic in telling his book, maybe even a little too enthusiastic that he goes a little too fast sometimes. I had to slow down the playback speed and even then, I would still go back multiple times to make sure I understood it.

The how to save Barber
He definitely focuses on the basics which is vary important but repetitive.
I do like how he goes back to things he sed in the first book and lets you know how it worked for other people and this time with percentages of good and bad.
It was also vary happy that he focused more on Canadian finances then is his original book the wealthy barber.
