Story
In a blink, I found myself in an unknown land, greeted by the textbox of an unfriendly system. It wanted me to become a great hero, save the world, win the love of the people and all that crap. But this new world already had a hero. Why should I bust my ass and deal with dragons and the unknown for people I didn't know? Let him deal with that. It's his job! So instead of being tempted by the system's nonsense, I chose a simple class. Potion maker. I wasn't interested in cultivating mana and defying the heavens, courting death, none of that crap.

A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

End of an era
This trilogy is the best VR Litrpg around unlike other VR litrpgs this trilogy feel like it has higher stakes and greater consequences, sure other VR Litrpg have people trapped in game but it does not feel as intense as world tree online. With the amount of time spent in the game and the dangers that can entailing becomes much more real.
Would highly recommend to any litrpg fan or fantasy fan.
