Publisher's Summary

United Nations Special Operations Command sent an elite expeditionary force of soldiers and pilots out on a simple recon mission, and somehow along the way they sparked an alien civil war. Now the not-at-all-merry band of pirates is in desperate trouble, again. Their stolen alien starship is falling apart, thousands of light years from home. The ancient alien AI they nicknamed Skippy is apparently dead, and even if they can by some miracle revive him, he might never be the same.

once again a great listen

RC bray does a spot on job with the narration once again and the story kept me locked in from start to finish with the serious nature of the crews situation mixed with a lot of humour (something i feel most other books lack). But there is one teensy weensy problem here.... The book is way too short. I found myself breezing through the 17 or so hour book in little over a week leaving me craving more from this series. I guess this monkey just needs to wait now.

amazing all around

what can be said, simply an amazing story told with amazing nairation, I feel skippy is how my brain narrates the world so I especially enjoy this series. I have been running through all the books for about 2 months now. So far this has become a new favorite scifi series of mine. 1000/10 shiny beer cans, good job monkies.

Annoyingly Entertaining

Ugh. These are dumb and I love them and he keeps writing more and he needs to stop so I can get on with my life.
