Alexis Donkin is a determined, tenacious and highly intelligent individual. At a young age she had a passion for storytelling and had always wanted to be a journalist for Channel 7 She achieved her dream. However that dream takes a toll. To achieve her dream she worked with different networks and had to prove her self in a very male dominated industry and she excelled and became a Senior Crime Reporter at Ch 7. I was so thrilled to have Alexis share her journey, the ups like having a politician answering her question as a newbie and reflecting on the emotional toll of reporting crime and dealing with death and disaster on a day to day basis.
