À propos de cet audio

Welcome to Jesus the Legend! Join us as we celebrate the Good News of Jesus, and discover how His love changes everything. From diving deep into Scripture to personal testimonies, each episode explores the profound message of Jesus. Whether you're new to the faith or have been a follower for years, Jesus the Legend is here to celebrate the Truth that Jesus is the greatest news the world has ever known. "If I acted crazy, I did it for God; if I acted overly serious, I did it for you. Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do." • Episode 44: “Chris Mathis (Part 2 of 2) - What is God Really Like?”
    Oct 30 2025

(Part 2 of 2) - Hey everyone, Welcome to Jesus the Legend. I’m really excited about today’s episode because we’ve got Pastor Chris Mathis from The Summit Church in Edmonton joining us. Chris carries the amazing and contagious message of life-giving hope through Jesus.

Shelly and I have known Chris and his wife Nikki—who, by the way, is an incredible worship leader—since, I think, around 2010.

We absolutely love them and are so proud of all that God’s done and continues to do through their lives and ministry.

Chris and Nikki both have hearts to see people understand their true identity as beloved sons and daughters of God—and to live out of that place of peace and abundance that Jesus promised.

They’re also passionate about church planting and oversee the Summit Church Movement, a grassroots network they founded back in 2009 in Florida.

This conversation is going to be rich—I know you’re going to be encouraged so let’s jump in!

    Oct 16 2025

    (Part 2 of 2)

Welcome back to Jesus the Legend. Today I have the great privilege of speaking with Keith Giles!

Keith is a former pastor who left the pulpit over a decade ago to follow Jesus. He’s been interviewed on CNN with Anderson Cooper, USA Today, Fox News, BuzzFeed and hundreds of other podcasts and radio programs. He’s a regular contributor to the XM Radio show, “Tell Me Everything”, as part of the weekly “God Squad” segment, and he is the founder and co-host of the “Heretic Happy Hour Podcast”, and his solo podcast, “Second Cup with Keith.”

Keith is also the best-selling author of the 7-part “Jesus Un” book series focused on Deconstruction of the Christian faith, and the “Sola” book series focused on embracing the mystery of the Divine. His latest book, “The Quantum Sayings of Jesus: Decoding the Lost Gospel of Thomas” is available now on Amazon.

Keith currently lives in El Paso, TX with his wife Wendy.

Buckle up… I know you’re going to love this.
