 Novelist Louis Joseph Vance created a character who was as durable as he was romantic, Michael Lanyard, “the Lone Wolf”. Lanyard was a reformed jewel thief who now used his talents on the side of law and order.The character was featured in more than 24 Hollywood films (several starring the king of Radio Cool, Gerald Mohr).
