This book is about who Christians are in Jesus Christ. This book follows a young pastor and the approach taken to bring healing to the congregation he served in the Evangelical Lutheran Church. After suffering from two years of dissension, antagonism, and excessive and blatant passive-aggressive behavior, the Lord of the Church delivered the young pastor and the congregation. He delivered them through the teaching of the Word. He delivered them in answer to their prayers for mercy and grace.

Of these we have a few undoubted fragments. The Adumbrations, or Commentaries on some of the Catholic Epistles, and The Selections from the Prophetic Scriptures, are compositions of the same character, as far as we can judge, as The Hypotyposes, and are supposed by some to have formed part of that work.
