Nidhi Zak/Aria Eipe's spellbinding debut poetry collection explores love and the wounds it makes. This is an audiobook of poetry that had its origins almost 20 years ago. Largely tongue-in-cheek, humorous, lyrical, formal, and free, I have tried to preserve the youthful exuberance characteristic of those early years, while reworking some of it for dignity's sake. Maturity is a beautiful thing. I'd like to think I have acquired some by now. Having it available as an audiobook really rings my bells. Fun, fun, fun!

As I journey through life, I continue to observe how we treat life and how life, in return, treats us. I see the evil that people do to fellow human beings and their cruelty to animals. Much as I try, I cannot shut my eyes and ears to what people do. Even when I try to ignore these things, the vital sensory organs that connect my brain to the world will not cease to send signals to my brain. As my brain processes all the information that my eyes and ears send, it engages my heart and causes it not to rest.
