Social Revolution

Reform or Revolution was an influential pamphlet published by Marxist Rosa Luxemburg in 1899. In it, she argues that a revolution is necessary in order to transform a capitalist society into a socialist one. It was a strong criticism of German socialist thinker Eduard Bernstein.

As a major political event and a crucial turning point in the history of the People's Republic of China, the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) marked the zenith as well as the nadir of Mao Zedong's ultra-leftist politics.
