I love Backman’s books, but this is one of my favourites! He had a masterful way of narrating wonderful stories about the beauty of human error and emotion that can be found in every day interactions. I love how each character was connected through their common feelings and experiences even though they had been strangers before! I love how the author can show many different types of love in the story and how he uses love to contrast with anxiety and depression, which we all feel sometimes.

You can be happy, but you don’t have to be happy all the time. It’s okay to be sad, but if you need help make sure you get help from friends, family, or a mental health professional!

The story of a most colourful and wonderful life!

Edna was wrong about Vivian, she was an important and interesting woman, just that she was most important and most interesting to just one man. And that made all the difference

Rob Inglis knocks it out of the park every time! My mom read the hobbit to me when I was very young, and this is my first time experiencing the story as an adult and I just loved it! While the pacing is much quicker than the LOTR trilogy, it is a very enjoyable prelude to the Fellowship, and is a great book to listen to if you’re new to the fantasy genre or want to renew your love for fantasy stories!

The narrator was amazing of course! I was worried the story might be confusing because of how many different characters there are, but the story is so well written that I had no problem following. Circe had such a great story I was absolutely in awe from the beginning until the very last sentence!

The perfect ending to a perfectly lovely story. I was engrossed the whole time and loved following Louisa growing into a confident woman throughout the books! A coming of age story with a modern twist that shows the importance of helping others but never losing sight of your goals and dreams!

Looking forward to reading more from Jojo Moyes!!

Loved it! At first the format was a little confusing in terms of identifying different characters, but it soon became easy to follow along! Loved the story, a mix of heartwarming and heartbreaking broken up with a bit of humour and genuinely interesting character relationships! 10/10, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying story from beginning to end!
