Story
Ambition can be a powerful force for good in our lives. But only if it is legitimate. Sometimes misinterpreted and often misunderstood, ambition - true ambition - is not a selfish quality. It is not another word for ruthless; it is not something to be shunned or subdued. Legitimate ambition is an honorable trait. At its very best, our ambition serves us and other people. In fact, pursuing your ambition is one of the most selfless things you can do.

Can’t say enough good things about this book. The narrator describes the lives, struggles, success of these 6 incredibly successful individuals. It really allowed me to realize how failure is the stepping stone to success and how we should never capitulate to any hardship that comes our way. Especially Elon musk and Jeff Bezos really struck a chord in me. Highly recommend if you want to change your life for the better.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

I loved listening to “born a crime” because so much of Trevor’s expirences correlated to my own, and having the ability to get insight on the struggles of this young man and compare them with my own just reinforces the fact that all of us go through hardships in life , and I was amazed to see how he persevered and succeeded through it . I highly recommend this !!!
