I prefer Chelsea Handler's other novels, but it wasn't a bad read. I did enjoy it and felt it was more of a mature, raw, inside scoop into Chelsea's day to day life (and past). I appreciated the honesty and truth behind things. There were a few kind of down and depressing topics as this day and age calls for, but overall, it was an easy listen and I had fun doing so. She still made me laugh, just not AS much as the other books of hers!

Entertaining and funny!

Cat and Nat do a great job narrating this book. It is very real life and has lots of funny wow moments. I could relate to 80% of the stories and points, and felt it was an easy, light-hearted, funny, realistic read overall. Very entertaining! Loved listening to it as an audio book as both their voices are entertaining. Feels like hanging and listening to friends almost!

Great sequel!

Atwood did a great job of wrapping the story up! It was slightly anti-climatic in a way. The last kind of piece to the puzzle and what the whole book was ramping up for, felt a bit quick or underwhelming for me, but every story line really does wrap up and have answers which is really nice for a sequel. I enjoyed listening to the different stories through the different character lens/voices. The fact that Aunt Lydia was the same as the current tv series made it that much more touching for me! I really enjoyed it as an audio book!

I really had no idea Demi's life was so interesting! You get first hand insight into her upbringing, relationships, movies and roles as a woman, mother, wife etc. I really enjoyed her stories and loved listening to it with her voice.

I really enjoyed this book. It was my first audio book experience and it did not disappoint. It took me a while to get used to the writers voice and pace, but once I did, it kept my attention well. I liked the flow of the book with the first half being a rally of women/mom's etc. and the second half being more practical strategies / self-help approach. I laughed a lot. Shook my head a lot. Was baffled by statistics a lot. Learned a lot. Reflected on a lot. Took a way a lot. My only complaint was not being able to take notes while listening and driving! I'll be re-listening with a note pad!
