my mother lived the last three years of her life with stage 4 dementia and it was the most challenging time of my life. but they were moments Sublime and some really hilarious times. my mother actually believed she had goldfish swimming in her bathtub with her. the book was described to me as the more humorous side of dementia and so that's what I thought it would be. I really needed to see the other side of the challenges. This book had moments of humour but mostly it was the author whining and acting like the victim. the spoken word is so different from the written word and if she were to re-record this with a lighter attitude it might be received better. I will say that she had some incredible insights and I admire her courage. it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I love reading Brad Thor's work for the action involving spying and intelligence. This book was three-quarters about Harvarh's struggle to survive which wasn't at all interesting. Thor's previous novels are much better.

fascinating and well written.

actually I really loved it and I didn't think I would. I've never been that interested in monarchy but it was free so I tried it. I've always thought that monarchies are antiquated and far too elitist. while they are that, can see why the institution still exists.

James Herriot is such a marvellous storyteller and Christopher Timothy does an excellent job of performing Harriet's Adventures and Misadventures. I highly recommend this book and all creatures great and small. I'm looking forward to the next in the series

I love this story because it wasn't about murder or evil Acts. It was just a good old-fashioned story about a young orphan girl with an imagination that won't quit and how she becomes an amazing woman. absolutely delightful and Rachel McAdams does an excellent job as Weider and performer
