Her story touched me in a way I haven’t seen coming. I listen to a lot of memoirs on this app and other difficult live stories but this one is really something.

It was well edited. You don’t hear too much too hard things but you can easily imagine that it was 100 times more awful then what is heard.

I had to deal with two different Amish community in my life and I alway had a weird feeling when I was there.

This woman is a strong one. If I had the chance to meet her one day I would give her a big hug for her courage.

The narration is wonderful.

Wonderful book!

This woman is powerful. Even if it was all that she had known all her life she knew it wasn’t right. I cannot believe this kind of organization is still active today.

Her early life story is very shocking but it was interesting to get a view from the inside.

The narration is the best I have ever experienced. She won prizes and she deserves them!

A nice surprise... and a powerful mind!

I didn’t expect anything when I started this book recommended by audible based on my other listens. The first 2 chapters I wasn’t sure I was going to finish it.

I pushed.

And I tried to always find quiet space to keep listening. I couldn’t stop! This little girl is very brave and to story allow us to witness her struggles and to « see » her becoming a woman in a world where she doesn’t have a place.

I have always been fascinated by those who raise above and keep going.

This a a story that will make you question why social services are not presents... but at the same time, she raised like a Phoenix!

Well written and the narrator is doing an awesome job!

Stunning true story! I recommend it!

I knew a bit about FLDS Church but I learnt a lot through that story. Elissa Wall is a fighter. It shows how hard it is for people like her to get out of the religious groups. She takes us step by step through her journey.

I can’t believe things like that are still happening today. I don’t judge the religion believes but I can’t bear it when those believes put children, men and women in those situations.

Renée Raudman is doing a fantastic job narrating the story. She is giving life to that book and you can feel her pain and joy through her performance.

It is a well written book about disgusting crimes. A bit like a documentary.

It is hard to think that this is a real crime story. I hate to put 5 stars on the story because it is really awful but you still want to continue know what happened.

In my eyes Dave was a victim too in a way. That woman is pure evil and I hope she won’t be able to get out of prison in 2022.

It took me a few chapter to get used to the narration. A bit monotone but as I got further in the story I got used to it and it didn’t bother me.

I can’t wait for the release of Keri 5-6-7!!!

It’s a shame I discover this series when all the audiobooks are not available yet... it is hard to stop listening. The narrator is engaging us so much in the story! Some people don’t like the long description and all but I think it’s helping to have an « image » in our head! I feel like I’m in the room with her!

I couldn’t stop listening. You always want to know what’s going to happen... Keri is so strong! I hope audible will produce the rest of the series ... Bridget Thomas is doing such a fantastic job that I don’t want to « read » the next ones but listen to them again.

It is hard to believe that no one yet have tried to help her. This story is really hard to listen to...but at the same time we want to know how it is going to end!

Some description are too long but at the same time you feel like you “see” her environnement.

The narrator is really engaging and brings a lot to the story!

I hope that all the serie will be available here!

I liked the fact that it was a true story... event if this true story is a ugly one. I liked the way it is told and never and event if she didn’t give a lot of details of what happened, it was enough to feel her pain and her struggles.

I really liked the fact that she explained all the court system. I don’t think any other books like that do so. This is a really hard process.

She is an example of courage and determination.

The narrator did a good job telling her story.
